You need some Blue Italian in your home!
I don't have a lot of blue going on in my house, so I wasn't sure Blue Italian dinnerware would fit in. Trust me, it does! I started with the salad plates (9"), which I pair with either my Lenox Solitaire or off-white earthenware from Amazon.
Although winter is just around the corner, Blue Italian brings a light, almost summery touch to the table. I've paired it with fuchsia napkins as well as sage green, and it looks great. Well, Hubby doesn't like the fuchsia napkins, but what does he know?
If a whole set of Blue Italian seems like too much of a good thing, I highly recommend ordering a single size of plate and mixing it with plain dinnerware. Except, of course, that you'll then want the Green Italian and maybe a few serving pieces . . . and if you don't have any Delamere, you obviously need that. Just tell the nice folks at Spode, "Please take my money."
